Does a role with Blossom Rural interest you?

Well, we would love to hear from you!

Why join the team at Blossom Rural?

Blossom Rural is a growing Private Practice delivering both Speech Pathology and OT services. We complete therapy and assessment via teletherapy to provide an accessible service for families living in rural and remote areas. Most of our caseloads are children located on farms or rural stations; therefore, they are hours from the closest Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist!

We are a hard-working, driven, and cheerful team who strives to provide an accessible, professional, and reliable service to rural children and their families – whilst having lots of fun along the way! We are always open to fresh ideas and adapt our processes and projects to reflect your suggestions – your voice will always be heard, and your ideas always considered!

If you would like to see more from our practice, please check out our Facebook and Instagram pages.

A few questions you might have about us!

Q1: How do you connect considering you are an online team?

We have three weekly team catch-ups consisting of the following:

  • Team Meeting: We chat through any updates to our policies and procedures and gain feedback from our team members if an aspect of our service can be improved! We also chat through any clinical questions, that we would like feedback on.

  • Speechie Team Chat (F/N): Our Speech Pathology team catches up to discuss new resources, research and chat through clinical questions. This allows us to touch base as a team and support one another with any questions.

  • Internal PD / Multi-D Chat (F/N): One of our team members will create a presentation on a professional development course they have recently completed, their interest area, or a resource they have found.

  • Pilates (F/N): We complete fortnightly pilates sessions via ZOOM which is lots of fun and allows us to step away from our screens!

  • Blossom Rural Huddle: At the end of the week, we have a 30-minute Huddle where we share our wins for the week! Such a wholesome meeting that we all love.

Q2: What are the benefits of working in our team:

  • A supportive and collaborative team of women passionate about providing a service to rural and remote families - while having lots of fun along the way!

  • We work online although this does not impact our connectedness - we catch up via ZOOM 3-4 times a week, as a team. We also regularly celebrate team birthdays, life events and engage in fortnightly pilates sessions (via ZOOM!)

  • You will have access to our Blossom Rural Hub which houses:

    • Policies and procedures: set out in a reader-friendly manner
